How we research and write
Sources
We start from systematic reviews, meta-analyses, randomized trials and consensus statements from sleep and sports-medicine bodies. Each guide lists its sources with links to PubMed, the journal or the official page. We do not cite a number we have not seen in the source.
Rating the evidence
We describe evidence as strong, moderate or weak. Strong means consistent results from several good trials or meta-analyses. Weak means small, short or industry-funded studies, or results that only show up in questionnaires.
Products
We name brands only with facts we can check on the maker’s own site, with the date. For mattresses and pillows we explain fit criteria rather than claiming a universal winner, because comfort depends on body weight, muscle mass, sleep position and pain.
Updates
Each guide shows the date it was last updated. We review guides when new major studies or rules (for example on melatonin) appear.
AI use
We use AI tools to help research and draft. Every guide is checked against its sources before publishing.
